Briefly explain your platform.
Our main platform is that we are trying to get students involved. And we are trying to keep the 24-hour Knight Library. We are trying to get a hold of the LTD contract and prioritize the funding for it.
What qualities and experience qualify you to be an ASUO senator?
This is my first time running for anything. Since our platform is to get more students involved, that’s kind of me right now. I’m trying to get involved. Which puts me on a level with all the other students who don’t know anything about how the ASUO functions or anything like that.
What are your thoughts on the size and purpose of the student incidental fee?
I think the student incidental fee is too high. Students have enough issues with loans and debt after college that we want to be try to be smart about spending it and try to reduce it as much as possible.
How will you ensure that you are representing your constituents’ interests?
Part of Asklepiads club. Heavily involved in both majors, have a huge network and know what people want.
What are some major issues facing science majors and how would you address them?
The thing is, to be totally honest, I don’t know yet. The campaign came up really quickly for me and I haven’t had a chance to sit and talk to them. I just added the major. I kind of had it and then got rid of it and then added it back and I haven’t been in the science department in quite a while.
