Oregon forward Ellie Manou has not made the decision to leave the women’s basketball team, but the timetable of that decision is unclear.
Manou, who averaged 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds a game for the Ducks this past season, appeared at yesterday’s practice in street clothes and spoke with women’s basketball coach Paul Westhead afterward. She would not comment on her status with the team, but she is still enrolled at the University.
Manou appeared in 28 games for the Ducks this past season, with 21 starts. She was rumored to be leaving the team following the hiring of Westhead, who succeeded Bev Smith as head coach on March 26.
