Oregon senior Cathryn Bristow completed her second day at the 2009 NCAA Women’s Golf Championships, hosted by Georgetown University at the Caves Valley Golf Club. Bristow shot a 7-over 79 for the day, which moved her down 25 places to 85th. She pared 11 holes with seven bogies, to bring her two-day score to 157.
UCLA’s Maria Jose Uribe moved ahead of the rest of the field with her 6-under 66 second-round score, bringing her two-day total to 141. The University of Denver and North Carolina both placed two golfers in the top 10 with two rounds remaining.
