Incident: Criminal mischief Location: 290 Marche Chase Drive When: Friday, May 29 Time: 10:05 a.m. What: A woman keyed a heart shape on a car and left the key behind, the vehicle’s owner reported.
Incident: Theft Location: 2559 Magnan St. When: Friday, May 29 Time: 12:27 p.m. What: A caller reported a stolen children’s water slide, taken from his or her driveway. Incident: Disorderly subjects Location: 1390 Alder St. When: Friday, May 29 Time: 7:14 p.m. What: Four males were throwing beer bottles from a balcony and hitting passers-by.
Incident: Loud noise Location: 2300 University St. When: Saturday, May 30 Time: 1:40 a.m. What: Several subjects entered the public restroom at University Park, played loud music and appeared to be partying in the restroom, a caller reported.
Incident: Theft Location: 1285 Taft St. When: Saturday, May 30 Time: 9 p.m. What: Two men, claiming to be representatives of Pinnacle Security, came to a woman’s door around 8 p.m. and asked if she would like to upgrade her alarm system. She declined and when the men left they stole the security sign from her front yard and drove away. Incident: Loud noise Location: 300 N. Jefferson St. When: Saturday, May 30 Time: 10:47 p.m. What: A caller reported hearing drums and harmonica music coming from University Park. The caller was willing to sign a complaint.
Incident: Violation of city ordinance Location: 2300 University St. When: Sunday, May 31 Time: 1:31 a.m. What: About 12 subjects were yelling and playing on the swings in the park.
Incident: Pursuit, DUI Location: Kinsrow Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard When: Sunday, May 31 Time: 2:40 a.m. What: University student Michael Glenzer, 20, was stopped by a K-9 EPD officer and allegedly drove off when the officer approached the driver’s side window, according to an EPD press release. The officer pursued Glenzer and stopped him at MLK Jr. Boulevard and Garden Way. He was arrested and taken to the Lane County Jail on charges of DUI, reckless driving and eluding by vehicle, according to the release.
