Students: Allow gay men to donate blood?

Students voice their opinion on the law passed by the Food and Drug Administration in 1983, which states that any man who has had sexual contact with another man after 1977 is prohibited from donating blood. The law is still in place largely due to concerns regarding blood-transmitted diseases, including HIV.
