Without a real strong push from us, we are headed toward a dreary destructive climate future. We will bear the greatest blow from climate chaos and we need action yesterday. The Nov. 6 to Nov. 8 PowerShift will be a spectacular opportunity for us all to push for strong climate action in the U.S. before the Copenhagen negotiations. It’s time to speak up.
On Wednesday, the ASUO Senate will be voting to help finance PowerShift West, and I want to voice my support. This conference is a perfect example of the power of our incidental fee to create dynamic opportunities for University students. Echo this support.
