The ASUO Constitution Court dismissed all counts of the grievance against ASUO President Emma Kallaway, refusing to remove her from office.
The Constitution Court, the ASUO’s equivalent of a judiciary system, found the evidence provided by Kallaway’s accuser, former presidential rival Michelle Haley, insufficient on all counts.
On the chief allegation in the case, that Kallaway had been late in turning in her personal criteria for success in office, the court ruled the two documents Haley had submitted were not original copies and therefore inadmissible as evidence.
More information on the ruling will be available in Tuesday’s Emerald.
