ASUO Senate made two of three proposed appointments at its meeting Wednesday evening. The third appointment was postponed because of a questioning on the rules at play.
Giovanni Battles and Justin Schultz were both appointed to PFC at-large positions.
Executive nominee Xavier Aranda, an ethnic studies major, applied for Senate Seat 14 representing social sciences but was not appointed Wednesday. The conflict arose because Aranda is also a national exchange student, and that group is represented under Senate Seat 19.
Also decided at the meeting was the approval of the rules changes that were submitted by the rules committee. A change to the stipend model, the formula by which student programs receive monthly stipends, was discussed but ultimately failed because of concerns that the changes could not be vetoed by the president.
Student athletic ticketing was discussed because of the large amount of complaints about the electronic distribution system.
