The No. 32 Oregon women’s golf team moved up one more place in the leader board at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational from Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash., in the final day of action, but it wasn’t nearly enough to erase the disappointment of placing eighth.
 
From round two, the Ducks were able to pick up one more stroke, shooting a 314, but that only put Oregon at 91-over par for the tournament and 58 strokes behind tournament winner No. 13 California.
 
Cal was 10-over par Wednesday and the team shot the only round under 300, shooting 298 for a three-round total of 897.
 
For the Ducks, leader Kendra Little continued to recover from her opening round 82, with a four-over par to move up to a tie for 28th. She finished 20-over par for the entire tournament.
 
Coming in second for Oregon was Monika Graf, who shot a five-over par to finish at 239 strokes for the tournament and in a tie for 35th. Rounding out the scoring for the Ducks, Kate Hildahl played five-over par golf to finish the third round tied for 37th, Erica Omlid shot an 84 to drop into 45th place, and Cheyenne Hickle went 15-over par to finish tied for 59th.
 
Rounding out the top three team scores were No. 24 Stanford 15 strokes back, and No. 8 Pepperdine in third place with a score of 917 strokes.
