Television crews began gathering around the University’s amphitheater on campus Tuesday afternoon in anticipation of filming for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Ellen DeGeneres tweeted to University students Monday, “Attention Oregon Ducks: ‘Quack. Quack. Quack-quack quack.’ I‘ll translate: Start following my tweets now, you’ll be glad you did.”
DeGeneres tweeted again Tuesday morning writing, “U of Oregon: Do I have a surprise for you? Hail, yes. Grab an umbrella and keep watching my Tweets.”
The tweets about the University of Oregon come after DeGeneres’ used Twitter to drop hints to University of California, Berkeley students that they would have an opportunity to be part of her show. Days later camera crews from DeGegeners’ talk show surprised Berkeley students on their campus with prizes including cash and Samsung cellphones.
