Adult Swim will present “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” live Wednesday at McDonald Theatre.
Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim premiered their “surreal sketch comedy” in February of 2007. The eccentric sketches include celebrity cameos of actors such as Rainn Wilson and features actors found on Craigslist.org. Among the sketches are the Channel 5 Married News Team, Brule’s Rules with Dr. Steve Brule, Spagett and Uncle Muscles Hour.

University freshman T.J. Thomas, who will attend Wednesday’s show, first saw “Tim and Eric Awesome Show” one year ago and thought it was “the best and funniest” TV show he had ever watched.
Thomas said he drops everything Sunday nights to watch the program and especially likes the show’s mockery of public access television. He said, however, that the show requires an unusual sense of humor and is not for everyone.
Season four of the “Tim and Eric Awesome Show” premieres Feb. 8. The duo’s previous show, “Tom Goes to the Mayor,” ran for two seasons between 2004 and 2006.
Tickets are $22 at Safeway TicketsWest outlets and online through McDonald Theatre will-call ticketing. There’s a two-for-one deal if you purchase tickets at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m. The show, also produced by Showbox Presents, is open to all ages.
