Oregon men’s basketball continues to add to its 2017-18 roster. The Ducks landed a commitment from New Mexico graduate transfer Elijah Brown late Sunday night, CBS Sports reported.
As a graduate transfer, Brown will be eligible immediately and won’t have to sit out a year.

Brown, a 6-foot-4 wing, mulled offers from Gonzaga, Iowa State, Northwestern and Saint Mary’s before deciding on the Ducks, The Oregonian reported.
Last year, Brown averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Brown began his career at Butler before transferring to New Mexico. He ranked No. 4 on the Bulldogs’ squad in scoring as a freshman (6.8 ppg) while appearing in 30 of 31 games.
Brown is the son of Golden State Warriors assistant coach Mike Brown.
The Orange County, California, native was a unanimous All-Mountain West first team selection as a sophomore after averaging 21.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Brown’s arrival will help to reload Oregon’s 2017-18 roster after a slew of departures. The Ducks will welcome freshmen Abu Kigab, V.J. Bailey, Kenny Wooten Jr. and Troy Brown Jr. to campus along with a redshirt senior in Elijah Brown.
