In this weekly news wrap-up, Podcast Editor Alec Cowan and Senior News Reporter Michael Tobin discuss the arrival of the “Genocide Awareness Project” on campus, which posted graphic images on the EMU lawn. Also included is an overview of the recent faculty senate actions to lessen bias in course evaluations, and the UOPD’s latest additions to their arsenal.

Cascades Raptor Center trainer Carrie Lorenz brings Taka, a Swainson’s Hawk, out of their enclosure. Taka was taken into human care as an adult at UC Davis’s Veterinary School’s Raptor Center back in 2001. Taka came to the Cascades Raptor Center in April of 2003, joining their ambassador team.
