The Oregon women’s lacrosse team began Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play with an 18-6 victory over Fresno State on Sunday afternoon.
The Ducks (5-7, 1-0 MPSF) tallied nine goals in each half to keep the Bulldogs winless at 0-9 on the year. Ten players scored at least one goal for the women in green and yellow, with five scoring multiple goals. Catherine Davidson’s four-goal output led the way, while Kelly Jablonski (3), Jana Drummond (2), Kaitlyn Pasko (2), and Ashley Inman (2) also chipped in
multiple scores.
Bina Barrett added three assists, while Salliebeth Finnegan steadied the Duck defense with nine saves.
Amanda Cross paced Fresno State with three goals.
Oregon’s next matchup will be the team’s home conference opener on Friday against California at Papé Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
