As a lifelong Duck fan, the booing by the Autzen Stadium crowd during Arizona injuries really bummed me out. The Wildcats were not faking injuries. Booing an injured player is a callous display of bad sportsmanship that reflects very poorly on the University.
Fans should defer their booing until they have seen convincing evidence that an injury has, in fact, been faked.
I have always considered Duck fans as a whole to be intense but respectful. However, that belief was challenged Friday.
