Travis Dye / Running back / Oregon
After becoming Oregon’s go-to running back in the Ducks’ narrow win over Arizona State, Dye will get called upon once more against the Beavers on Friday. With CJ Verdell banged up and Tony Brooks-James falling out of favor in the rotation, Dye led the way with 18 carries for 105 yards and broke away for a 23-yard dash in the process. While it doesn’t appear that Verdell will be completely inactive, Dye will still need to step into the role of being the ball carrier for the Ducks.
Deommodore Lenoir / Cornerback / Oregon
Lenoir was instrumental in Oregon’s defensive backfield against Arizona State. The sophomore teamed up with Thomas Graham Jr. in a matchup with N’Keal Harry and helped Oregon’s defense close out the game against the Sun Devils. He shouldn’t face any tests on Friday like he did against Harry but he won’t be able to cruise through the game. Despite Oregon State’s struggles, it is still a rivalry game and the Beavers won’t back off. But Oregon State is still a 2-9 team and has thrown six interceptions. This is a game where Lenoir could pad his stats with a pick.
Isaiah Hodgins / Wide receiver / Oregon State
Hodgins is tied for the second-most receptions on the team but leads the team in yards per catch. In the 51 receptions he’s made, Hodgins has gone for 743 yards and five touchdowns to average 14.6 yards per catch and 74.3 yards per game. In Oregon State’s miraculous comeback win at Colorado this season, Hodgins led the Beavers with 11 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns. His performance helped lift Oregon State to its only conference win this season, and he’ll need a similar game to give his team a chance against the Ducks.
Hamilcar Rashed Jr. / Linebacker / Oregon State
Rashed Jr. is going to need a big game against Oregon to keep the Ducks’ scoring at bay and to give Oregon State any chance at winning. He has the most tackles for loss on the team with 11.5 — the next most has 4.5. Rashed Jr. led the team with six solo tackles and had a team-high three tackles for loss for 11 yards in the Beavers’ win over Colorado. In the last three games, Rashed has made 14 tackles. Oregon’s run game needs to heat up as the season comes to a close, and Rashed Jr. will need to make some big plays to halt the ground attack from Oregon.
