Though you might not know it from reading the newspaper, we are in the midst of the most important campus election that will occur during your time at this University.
The stakes are incredibly high: The next student body president will be the spokesperson for 24,000 students in conversations about armed police officers, University privatization and which student services are funded.
You can vote for candidates who will stand for progressive values on issues that will reshape this university forever. Or you can vote for a ticket that stands for very little.
We urge you to vote for Ben and Katie, their candidates, and to vote yes on all ballot measures. Vote yes for a public university. Vote yes for a weapons-free campus. Vote yes for OSPIRG. Ben and Katie are the only candidates fighting for these issues.
Take time to vote for what matters.
