Jumping the bridge
Last Thursday, a 21-year-old man assumed he was responsible for something as he plunged into the Hudson River after police tried to pull him over.
The man believed there was a warrant out for his arrest; there wasn’t.
Baffled police watched the man get carried 250 feet down the river until he managed to grasp onto a nearby branch. The water was a mere 50 degrees.

Legal exposure
Sometimes it takes more than dialogue to make an argument. Last Wednesday, an Austrian lawyer dropped his pants while two female investigators questioned his client, who was allegedly suspected of a sex crime, in a police station.

Making an ass of himself
A Madisonville, Ohio, man has taken mooning to a whole new level.
Police say the man jumped in front of a train and refused to budge, as the train ground to a halt five feet from his body.
Then he dropped his pants and mooned the train. The mooning vigilante has been arrested more than 36 times previously.

A London cat has set a new Guinness World Record.
The feline, named Smokey, just broke the record for the loudest purr.
Smokey’s purr registered at a 67.7 decibels.
