ASUO President Ben Eckstein announced today that the upcoming student vote on remodeling and expanding the EMU will be postponed.
In a press release, Eckstein cited concerns over potential mid-year tuition increases, limited student involvement in planning the project, and conflicts with the Division of Student Affairs over student space in the new building.
A vote on renovations to the Student Recreation Center will continue as planned.
