Despite facing an 0 – 2 deficit going into the third set, the No. 17 Oregon Ducks rallied to upset No. 1 UCLA Bruins Friday night. The Bruins would be the second No. 1 team this season to fall to the Ducks, the other being four-time defending champion Penn State. The Ducks fell 20 – 25, 23 – 25 in the first and second set and then would go on to fight back and take the third and fourth sets 25 – 15, 25 – 18. In the fifth set, the two teams repeatedly matched each other point for point until the Ducks ended the game with 5 consecutive points.
