After a nearly 10-hour meeting that went into the early hours of Thursday morning, the ASUO Senate and Executive, working with members of the EMU Board of Directors and other interested parties, completed a new draft memorandum of understanding on the EMU Renovation project to be presented to University Vice President for Student Affairs Robin Holmes.
The new memo is being circulated to student groups today with a letter asking for their support.
If Holmes agrees to the terms of the memo, the EMU Referendum would be rescheduled for a date to be determined, but to be held before a delay in the vote would produce negative financial impacts.
The memo will be presented to Holmes Friday morning.
