University student Quinten Link, 21, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after he and two other men were involved in a 3-on-3 fight that resulted in the stabbing of one man.
Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning, an intoxicated Link, Logan Saruwatori, 21, and Garrett Saruwatori, 23, were around the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Patterson Alley when the fight occurred.
Link and his friends had run into the victim earlier in the evening, when a smaller altercation occurred. The victim and a female friend went to a friend’s house after their initial meeting, a Eugene Police Department spokesperson told The Register-Guard. The victim went back out with some friends to look for Link, and it was then that the fight ensued.
The victim of the stabbing was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s name is currently being withheld.
Police are continuing their investigation.
