It’s been a few hours since Oregon defeated Stanford, which means you all must be chomping at the bit to read everyone’s coverage. Well, have no fear. Here are a few key notes that didn’t make it into our stories last night, as well as some links from Oregon beat writers that you don’t want to miss.
Postgame Notes:
- Oregon’s LaMichael James ran for his 23rd 100-yard rushing performance in 33 career appearances
- James’ 47 career touchdowns moved him passed Marcus Allen (45, USC) and Jacquizz Rodgers (46, OSU) for fifth all-time in Pac-12 history
- Junior quarterback Darron Thomas has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 22 straight games (yeah, that’s every game of his career)
- With 13 touchdowns this season, true freshman De’Anthony Thomas has the most scores among all true freshmen in the Football Bowl Subdivision
- Oregon has scored 50 or more points in three of the past five meetings with the Cardinal
- One Oregon win or one Stanford loss will clinch the Pac-12 North for the Ducks, and give them hosting rights in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game
