Oregon running back LaMichael James was officially named the Pac-12 offensive player of the week on Monday, just one day after taking home the Walter Camp national player of the week honor on Sunday.
James rushed for 239 yards on 30 carries last Thursday against California, notching his third straight 200-plus yard rushing game. This is the fourth time the junior running back has taken home conference player of the week honors, with the others coming in week four against Arizona and in wins over Stanford in 2010 and USC in 2009. He also earned the Walter Camp honor once last year in recognition of his performance against Stanford.@@http://www.portlandtribune.com/sports/story.php?story_id=131796263910209500@@
