Two days removed from the most boring game of the season (sorry, Dustin Haines), the Ducks are back at work today in preparation for a slightly more competent Washington State team. On to the links:
-In a notably drier edition of the R-G Postgame Brew (come on, Register-Guard, lighten up a little), Rob Moseley and Adam Jude recap best and worst of the Colorado game and what to watch for this week.
-Jude also dishes the latest on injured Washington State quarterback Jeff Tuel, Cliff Harris, and the Ducks’ elevation to No. 7 in the BCS rankings.
-Doug Lesmerises of the Cleveland Plain Dealer is the only AP voter in the nation who ranks Oregon outside of the Top 10. Since he has Michigan State, Arkansas, and Oklahoma ahead of the Ducks, I think it’s safe to say he’s a bit misguided. Josh Kendall of South Carolina had the Ducks ranked the highest at No. 5.
-Stanford tops ESPN Pac-12 blogger Ted Miller’s latest conference power rankings. Fair enough, after that absurd performance against Washington.
-Darron Thomas’ status remains a mystery as Oregon prepares for the Cougars.
