-Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples released a new set of power rankings today, comparing each team’s debut with a television pilot. Oregon’s was 24, which makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Chip Kelly…Jack Bauer, it’s hard to tell the difference, really.
-In the rankings that actually count, Oregon saw a precipitous drop. The AP has them at No. 13, while the USA Today Coaches Poll ranks the Ducks No. 14.
-Rob Moseley has a story in today’s Register-Guard about how the Ducks are moving forward after the LSU loss.
-Running backs coach Gary Campbell dismissed any notions that LaMichael James is slower. Meanwhile, Kenjon Barner may have practiced today (no one can be sure since practice was closed).
