Just hours before game time, Chip Kelly officially reinstated Oregon cornerback Cliff Harris from suspension. He will be available to play today against Nevada, though it is unclear whether he will return to his usual spot in the starting lineup.
Harris, a junior from Fresno, Calif., was suspended indefinitely back in June after being cited for speeding while driving with a suspended license. The incident came just months after a breakout 2010 season, during which Harris hauled in six interceptions, scored five times on punt and interception returns, and was named an All-American by numerous publications.
Harris last played in January’s BCS National Championship game against Auburn.
