— No. 8 Oregon men’s basketball (25-6, 14-4 Pac-12) is at the top of the Pac-12 power rankings heading into the conference tournament. A five game winning streak put Oregon at the top of the league. And with its first Pac-12 title since 2002, the Ducks also saw an an average increase of more than 1,000 fans per game this season at home.
— Dana Altman was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year for the third time in his tenure at UO. Dillon Brooks and Elgin Cook brought in more Oregon honors when they were both named to the First Team All-Pac-12 team
—Acrobatics and Tumbling earned a season high score of 282.970 in its match against Adrian College and King University at home Monday night. The Ducks also earned a season-high in the team event with a 100.07. The overall score was Oregon’s best since April of last year.
—Baseball’s David Petersen was named Louisville Slugger Player of the Week this week after the sophomore tallied a career-high 13 strikeouts against UCSB. The No. 11 Ducks won the game 3-1 in the 14 inning duel.
—No. 21 men’s tennis has seen one of the best preseasons in its history this year. Thee Ducks have reached as high as No. 20 this season for highest ranking Oregon has ever earned.
— Women’s tennis bumps down to No. 36 in the ITA rankings even after a feel sweep of Boise State University this Sunday. The win was Oregon’s sixth straight over the past three weeks.
—Lacrosse was unable to keep its stride Monday, and the Ducks fell to High Point 12-7 at home. The Ducks (3-2) scored only a single goal in the second half of the game.
—Women’s gold finished in fourth at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Florida last weekend when the team shot 37-over par. The No.4 finish was the Ducks’ third top five finish of the season.
