Two people robbed the Market of Choice on Franklin Boulevard this morning. A man and woman entered the store at 10:30a.m., attempted to shoplift items and escaped the store after an employee attempted to stop them.
They made away with the items and were last seen heading south on Orchard Street on mountain bikes.
A press release from the Eugene Police Department described the man as white, about 6-foot-2, in his 20s, with a medium build and blond hair. The woman is described as white, about 5-foot-5, with short dark brown or reddish hair.
Market of Choice declined to comment on the incident, and the University of Oregon Police Department did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
