Jasmine Todd announced in an Instagram post on Friday that her career at Oregon is over. Todd did not release specifics, but did say her departure is “due to unforeseen circumstances” and “not injury related.”
Todd was scheduled to compete in the 100 meter dash and the long jump at this weekend’s NCAA West Regionals in Kansas, but didn’t compete in either.

My time here as a Duck has been amazing. MANY MANY MANY downs and MANY MANY MANY MANY ups ! So many PR’s have been made and friendships built. Not how I want to end my career here at University of Oregon, but due to unforeseen circumstances (not injury related buyout of my control) I have to end my season early. Wishing the best of luck to my teammates with the rest of regionals and going into NCAA’s. 😘 #ScoDucks

The redshirt junior took fourth in the 100 meters at last year’s NCAA Outdoor Championships and second in the long jump. She was the high-scorer at last year’s Pac-12 Championships with 35 points. She’s also a five-time All-American.
Todd, a junior by eligibility, participated in Oregon’s Senior Day activities during the Oregon Twilight Meet on May 6.
The Chandler, Arizona, native holds the school record in the long jump and is tied for the 100 meter school-best, 10.92.
