Oregon football isn’t wasting any time in its search to fill the vacant defensive coordinator position.
A report by Scout.com published on Wednesday afternoon says former Michigan head coach Brady Hoke will interview for the position.
Hoke is accompanied on the Scout.com list by former USC defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox and current USC linebackers coach Peter Sirmon.
Hoke was fired from Michigan in Dec. 2014 and took the 2015 season off from coaching. He compiled a 31-20 record as the head coach from 2011-14.
MLive.com reports that Hoke visited Eugene and Oregon football practice as part of a trip to study different football programs around the country in 2015. He attended a Ducks spring practice as a guest of head coach Mark Helfrich.
