Oregon freshman Lovena Chaput, above, and Arizona sophomore Caitlin Lowe were named Pacific-10 Conference Softball Co-Players of the Week on Tuesday. The left-handed hitting Chaput went 6 for 13 with a home run (her third of the season) and three RBIs. The Tualatin native leads the team in hits with 28 and has a .329 average on the season. It’s the first honor for an Oregon player this season and the seventh since head coach Kathy Arendsen took over.
