The University’s Students for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will host a screening of “Peaceable
Kingdom,” a film about the toll today’s large-scale factory farming takes on farmers and animals, in 100 Willamette tonight.
The 70-minute film looks at “the disparity between the storybook image of farming taught to us as children and the stark reality of today’s industrialized factory farms,” according to a SETA press release.
The free show starts at 7 p.m. After the film will be a short discussion.
