Former U.S. Senator and University alumnus Paul Simon will give a free public lecture today at 7 p.m. at 175 Knight Law Center.
Simon will discuss his book “Tapped Out: The Coming World Crisis in Water and What We Can Do About It.” The discussion, which is sponsored by the University, will be followed by a book signing.
The former senator, who has been a writer, newspaper editor and publisher, also served in the Illinois Legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives. Simon is now a professor at Southern Illinois University and has written more than 16 books.
