The Oregon Daily Emerald, an independently run student newspaper, seeks talented students to join its staff for the 2005-06 academic year. Positions for layout designers, news reporters and columnists are currently available. All positions are paid. Apply no later than Nov. 16, 2005.

The Oregon Daily Emerald is an independently run student newspaper published daily Monday through Friday during the school year and Tuesday and Thursday during the summer by the Oregon Daily Emerald Publishing Co. Inc., at the University of Oregon. The Emerald operates independently of the University with offices in EMU Suite 300.

Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Oregon for the 2005-06 academic year. Previous experience is not required, although similar professional or educational experience is recommended.
