How do you hope to change the world?
I hope to change the world through a radical restructuring of outdated systems within our society — most notably the higher education system and criminal justice system — to better serve the needs of overlooked and underserved populations.
What are you proud to have been involved with at University of Oregon?
I am most pleased with my involvement in OUTLaws, the LGBTQ+ student organization at the law school, and the Student Bar Association. I am also proud of my work in coordinating UO’s first completely remote ASUO student elections in 2020.
Who has been your biggest supporter over the past year and why?
My biggest supporters have been my family and friends, who consistently put up with me.
Which fictional character is most like yourself?
I am most like Nancy Drew.
What are your goals after college?
My goal post-grad was to enroll in law school, which I did! I just finished my second year and I am looking forward to my third and final year in Portland.
What is the most interesting thing about you?
My sense of humor is the most interesting thing about me.
What motivates you in the face of adversity?
I am most motivated when I see people in the community taking on leadership or advocacy roles they previously thought impossible.
