Eugene Fire and Rescue responded to a call at Caspian restaurant on 13th Avenue between Kincaid and Alder Street around 2:15 p.m. after a customer collapsed from a seizure.
The employees made sure he was still breathing by the time emergency medical technicians arrived.
“He kinda started collapsing. The (other customers) were very calm and very supportive,” said Caspian employee Levi Knox. He said other employees behind the counter jumped into action, called 911 and cleared out the restaurant.
According to Knox, the customer was siting up and in stable condition by 2:50 p.m.
Fire department officials declined to comment on the situation.
