Eugene residents should expect a wet and windy weekend after the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory.
Combined with weekend rain and showers, the report predicts winds of 15 to 30 mph, with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
The advisory is set to end on Saturday at 10 p.m., with the strongest winds arriving between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday.
The message warns against possible tree damage and spotty power outages.
