Jake Fisher is heading to Cincinnati.
With the  53rd pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cincinnai Bengals selected Fisher, an offensive tackle from Oregon. Fisher is now the third Oregon player to be chosen in the draft, behind Marcus Mariota (No. 2, Tennessee Titans) and Arik Armstead (No. 17, San Francisco 49ers).
Originally from Traverse City West High School in Traverse City, Michigan, Fisher played left tackle in the Ducks’ fast-paced offense. Fisher has experience at both tackle positions but is primarily being looked at as a left tackle in the NFL.
Throughout his four-year career, the senior played in 51 total games. Fisher’s senior year was by far his best. He received first-team all-Pac-12 honors as well as a first-team All-America nod by the Football Writer’s Association of America.

Strengths according to NFL.com: “Former tight end who moves easily and naturally. Good initial quickness to reach cross-face blocks. Finisher in zone game. Can sustain blocks with proper hip roll and balance through contact. Understands how to create leverage advantages with angles and footwork.”
Weaknesses according to NFL.com: “One of the most penalized tackles in 2015 draft class over last two seasons, including six holding calls during 2014 season. Needs angles to get consistent push in run game. Needs weight-room work to add more bulk to his frame. Needs to improve his contact balance against power.”
