Former Oregon women’s basketball player Tamika Nurse has transferred to Bowling Green.
The Hamilton, Ontario, Canada native was a three-year starter for the Ducks at point guard who averaged 7.1 points and 2.1 assists last year.
Nurse’s best season was her sophomore year, with averages of 9.2 points, 3.3 assists and 2.0 rebounds a game.
Nurse was released by the University on April 15.
Nurse must sit out the upcoming season due to NCAA transfer rules before she can play for the Falcons in her final year of eligibility in 2009-10.
Nurse chose Oregon over Bowling Green initially coming into college.
