The No. 17 Oregon women’s golf team moved into a tie for sixth on day two of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, held at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Seattle.
The Ducks shot a collective 10-over-par 298 Tuesday for a two-day stroke total of 605, equal to Stanford.
Pacific-10 Conference foes No. 13 California, No. 2 USC and host Washington are atop the leaderboard entering the third and final round.
Kendra Little once again set the pace for the Ducks, recording a second-round 73 to move into a tie for 12th place (3-over 147). Erica Omlid’s 74 moved her into a tie for 21st at 6-over 150.
Cheyenne Hickle (tied for 32nd) shot a 5-over 77 on the day, while Ashley Edwards recovered from a first-round 82 to finish with a 74 in the second round to finish in 48th place.
Cal’s Emily Childs (8-under) recorded her second 4-under 68 of the tournament to lead by four strokes over Golden Bears teammate Joanne Lee. USC’s Sophia Popov (3-under) is in sole possession of third place.
