During Oregon’s media day Monday, the first day of fall training camp, depth was the primary point of discussion about the defense. Replacing six starters — including NFL fourth-round draft pick Casey Matthews, and all-conference performers Matthews, Talmadge Jackson III, Brandon Bair and Kenny Rowe — could prove difficult for the Ducks, but it hasn’t lowered the expectations of defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti.
