Two protestors embrace while the encampment packs up. Encampment negotiators reached an agreement with UO President John Karl Scholtz Wednesday night to take down the encampment outside of Johnson Hall in exchange for meeting some of the demonstrators’ demands. As part of the agreement, any students charged with violating university code of conduct policies will receive amnesty. The encampment started on April 29 at the Memorial Quad and later moved outside Johnson Hall on May 16. (Miles Cull/Emerald)
