On January 18th the University of Oregon started to make these masks available to all students and staff for free. According to CDC, the KN95 masks are considered 95% effective at filtering out small particles such as the COVID-19 virus. The Daily Emerald’s reporters Brandon Roth and Petra Molina went on campus to interview students about their opinions on the KN95 masks.
