– Oregon lacrosse has been enjoying a great Spring Break, picking up two wins on the road this week. The first was on Monday when they were able to down Fresno State 14-7. The team then traveled across the country to face LIU Brooklyn, capturing the 19-8 victory. In the second game redshirt senior Hayley Milner made her mark, finishing with a career-high six goals.
– Oregon softball picked up a pair of wins of its own, sweeping a doubleheader against Utah Valley. The Ducks won game one 9-1 and game two 3-0 thanks to timely hitting and strong pitching. This stretches the winning streak to 12 games.
– More from softball — Cheridan Hawkins was named the Pac-12 pitcher of the week for the second time this season on Tuesday before the series against Utah Valley. At the time Hawkins earned the honor, she had not allowed a run in Pac-12 play. Her season ERA of 0.32 is second best in the nation.
– Oregon baseball has also been winning games of late, defeating UC Riverside 10-7 in 13 innings on Tuesday. The headliner for the Ducks was junior Mitchell Tolman, who went 4-for-6 with a two-run home run and three RBIs. Oregon went on to win the second game in the series Wednesday as the bats finally came alive. The Ducks compiled 14 hits in the 12-3 blowout.
– Two more players have left an Oregon football team that has seen plenty of turnover this offseason. Offensive lineman Jamal Prater and receiver B.J. Kelley have both decided to forgo their senior seasons.
