Dream Job?
Anything where I could have a tangible effect on those who are most impacted by climate change.
Why are you attending UO?
I decided to attend the UO because I wanted to experience something completely different than what I was used to. I continue to find people and things that surprise me everyday.
How/why do you want to change the world?
I want to change the world to ensure that we return the Earth in the same or better condition than we found it. I hope to act on this through working with climate justice. I want people to more actively think of themselves as a part of the environment in our everyday lives.
What has been the best part of your college experience?
The best part of my college experience has been meeting all of the amazing humans who have influenced my growth on this campus. I have met so many great professors, staff, and friends here that are the reason I have been able to do any of the things I have done and continue to do.
What are you proud to have been involved with at UO?
I am so proud to have been involved in so many amazing student groups on campus. My time with OSPIRG and the Student Sustainability Coalition has shown me the amazing strides students can make towards a more sustainable future.
What are some of your goals after college?
My goals after college are to continue to strive for a sustainable and healthy future by using what I have learned in my time at the UO.
Who’s your biggest role model/influencer?
My biggest role model would probably be my mother. She has instilled in me a sense of always doing what is right and ensuring an equal and sustainable world. I believe that this has sparked my desire to protect the environment and to find and support those aspects of the world that are least represented.
