Oregon softball freshman Jenna Lilley was named Pac-12 player of the week for the first time in her young career, the conference announced Monday.
Lilley, the North Canton, Ohio native, went 4-for-6 in the first two games of a three-game series with Stanford on Saturday and Sunday, as the Ducks clinched the series win on the road. She’s hitting .415 on the season and has started all 42 games for Oregon.
Lilley scored three runs and knocked in two more in two games. Yesterday, in the Ducks’ 12-8 win over the Cardinal, Lilley went 3-for-3, scoring three runs, two RBIs and a double. She went 1-for-3 in Saturday’s 5-4 win, including a walk.
Lilley was named conference player of the week twice so far this season.
The Ducks cap off their road trip tonight against Stanford, 7 p.m. first pitch on Pac-12 Networks.
