After a full weekend of games and matches, here’s how Oregon stacked up against its competition.
– Oregon softball bested ASU with their first sweep of the team since 1989. The No.2 Ducks beat the No. 19 Sun Devils with a 4-3 win in the final game.
-Baseball also won its three game series against Oregon State after overcoming a six run deficit to win the final game 10-9. It was the first time since 2011 that the Ducks have won in a three game series against OSU.
-Oregon also swept the Pepsi Invitational against Washington and Kentucky. The men won with 162 points and the women with 138. Jenna Prandini put points on the board for Oregon in the long jump where she won with a mark of 21-0.5.
– Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling lost in their meet against No. 1 Baylor to finish out the season. Oregon is the reigning national champion, but is 5-3 this season going in to the championship meet.
– Women’s Lacrosse traveled to UC Davis and came out with a 10-7 win. Senior Devon Frazer scored three goals for the Ducks.
-No. 14 Men’s Golf finished second in Western Intercollegiate. Oregon’s Zach Foushee was three-under this weekend, while the Duck’s combined scored was 16-over 1066.
-Men’s Tennis beat Utah 4-0. Oregon’s Jayson Amos won in both doubles and singles play to give the Ducks their first point of the match.
-Women’s Tennis won in a close match against Arizona with a 4-3 win that came down to the last singles match. The final point came from Oregon’s Marlou Kluiving who won her match 7-5, 6-0 to give the Ducks their first win in five matches.
