– After running all over the Beavers on Friday, Oregon rose once again in this weeks AP Poll, jumping from 18th to 15th. The Ducks won their last six games of the year, and finished the regular season with an overall record of 9-3, 7-2 against the Pac-12. They now await their bowl game fate.
– Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams remains undefeated as they return from the short Thanksgiving break looking to get back to work this week. The men’s team handled Arkansas St on Wednesday and are currently ranked 21st in the country. They look to remain perfect when Fresno St comes to visit on Monday.
– The women’s team dominated North Dakota on Saturday to improve to 5-0 in this young season, the team’s best start since 2011-2012. They too hope to keep their hot start alive as they take on San Jose St at home on Monday.
– For the volleyball team, the only thing sweeter than beating OSU at home on Senior Night would be getting a a bid to the NCAA Tournament. On Sunday, the Duck’s learned their season will continue, for now. They received an at-large bid and will be taking on Wisconsin in the first round. This is the 5th straight NCAA Tournament trip for Oregon.
– Last Tuesday, three Ducks players were named to the Pac-12 All Academic First Team. Leading the group from Oregon was Jeff Lockie(3.82), who posted the third highest GPA on the list. He was followed by linebacker Johnny Ragin III (3.62) and offensive lineman Doug Brenner (3.51).
