– Katelyn Loper, former Oregon women’s basketball player, signed a one-year international contract with BC Musel Pikes in Luxembourg last week. Loper played two collegiate years at Hofstra University before transferring to Oregon to finish her eligibility in 2012. Her 133 three-pointers rank eighth in Oregon school history.
– The Oregon Ducks will debut new Oregon Pioneer football uniforms in their home game against the Washington State Cougars this Saturday. The jerseys, which feature “a sublimated, tonal pattern of the Oregon Trail,” pay tribute to explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, who introduced Oregon to the east in 1805.
– Oregon men’s basketball announced a $99 season ticket for fans for the 2015-2016 season on Wednesday. The “Lucenti Experience” is a new 100 percent mobile application that will issue tickets for remaining seats before each game. Lucenti Experience season ticket holders will receive their seat location in a text message prior to game day. The pass will go on sale on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
– Caitlyn Wong made her return to the soccer pitch six months after suffering her second ACL tear. Since her return, Wong has helped the Ducks defeat Portland State and upset Colorado, and recorded assists in both games.
– Oregon men’s golf wrapped up play at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational and placed 10th out of 15. Reigning Pac-12 Player of the Month Aaron Wise tied for 16th in the tournament and led the Ducks with a score of 6-under.
– Oregon women’s volleyball is off to an 8-5 start and currently ranked 25th in the nation. Lindsey Vander Weide is one of five new freshmen who have provided valuable contributions to the team thus far.
